PEER SUPPORT GROUP


Meets Fridays from 9:00am-10:30am at Angela's House. It is open to the blind and visually impaired dealing with the issues of vision loss and its impact on relationships, employment, and education. Call: (702) 631-9009 for details.

BRAILLE CLUB  

When Angela’s House is not having a current session, participants gather from 10:45am to 12noon on Fridays after Support Group to practice Braille. Whether you are just beginning or brushing up on your skills, members help each other learn in a casual and fun environment.

SELF-ADVOCACY TRAINING

Board members will facilitate training to help individuals speak for themselves in
addressing their unmet needs. The program is based on American Foundation for the Blind's curriculum of Self- Advocacy Skills Training. Call: (702) 631-9009 for details.
